Semi-final of UBC

Our team won their semi-final of the UBC Universities Business Challenge at the Portsmouth Royal Navy Museum. The team departed Cambridge at 5:15am and arrived back at 7:45pm.

The four German final year students at won the first UBC semi-final, beating seven other university teams. They now go into the finals on 7 March at IBM in London. They played a long strategy and steadily improved their relative position through the four rounds of the semi-final business simulation challenge.

The heats for the UBC competition were held from September to December 2007, with 232 university teams competing in 29 heats of 8 teams. The top 3 teams from each heat proceeded to the semis.
