       WEF_Global Competitiveness Report_2013-14 Compares 142 economies. Switzerland tops the overall rankings. Singapore overtakes Sweden for 2nd position. Northern and Western European countries dominate the top 10 with Finland 4th, USA 5th, Germany 6th, the Netherlands 7th, Denmark 8th and the UK 10th. Japan is 9th despite falling three places since last year.
